The Zoning Hearing Board, pursuant to State law, deals with interpretation of the Township’s zoning ordinances. They hear and decide on applications for appeal from decisions of Township officials, special exceptions and variances of zoning regulations. This autonomous Board holds public hearings that are advertised in advance in local newspapers. Records of the proceedings are maintained. An appeal of the their findings may be taken to the Court of Common Pleas of Montgomery County.

In person meetings are held at Upper Dublin Public Library, 520 Virginia Drive, Fort Washington, PA 19034 in the Auditorium. Virtual meetings may be held and the public link to those meetings is posted on the meeting webpage.
