Description:  Innovations are praised for creating new technologies, industries, and careers; but also criticized for destroying or displacing existing companies and jobs. Explore innovations in science, tech, business, government, and cultural institutions to reveal benefits and consequences, including weapons of mass disruption, gene editing, and AI bots.

Instructor: Sanford Catz is a Greater Philadelphia Thinking Society co-organizer & discussion leader, an instructor of science and humanities topics, and a retired Lockheed Martin engineer.
