The Upper Dublin Township Municipal Authority invites all residents to a Public Open House for the Dreshertown Road Improvement Project on Monday, May 13, 2024 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.
Location: Shanis Auditorium at Upper Dublin Library (520 Virginia Drive, Fort Washington)
The Dreshertown Road Improvement Project consists of:
- the widening of Virginia Drive/Dreshertown Road from Susquehanna Road to Beacon Hill Drive/Bantry Drive,
- the extension of the Cross County Trail from Susquehanna Road to Beacon Hill Drive/Bantry Drive,
- a culvert replacement and the addition of missing sidewalk to provide improvements for motorists, bicyclists and pedestrians.
The purpose of the Open House is for the Municipal Authority to provide the public with an opportunity to review the project design improvements that are currently in the "Preliminary Engineering" phase. Information regarding the timeline and status of the potential Dresher Cemetery relocation will also be provided.
